What an honour. I’ve been asked by Gary Murphy to be part of the Gary Murphy Band this year and perform at The International Guitar Festival of Great Britain.

The new version of Guitar Legends charts the history of the guitar from the 1920s through to the present day, featuring styles from jazz and country rock to pop. The show, at the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton on Friday, November 9, will be performed by Gary and his eight-piece band. The annual month-long guitar festival will take place throughout November at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton, Birkenhead Priory and the Williamson Art Gallery.,
Gary said: “Guitar Legends will highlight many different guitar styles through popular music, such as jazz, blues, country rock, pop and rock – appealing to all tastes and ages. New guitarists featured in this year’s show include Les Paul, Robert Johnson, Chet Atkins and Carlos Santana, as well as great bands such as ELO, 10cc, Journey, AC/DC and many more.”
Gary Brown will be special guest vocalist and will perform alongside Gary and his band. The story will be narrated by radio presenter Billy Butler, giving an insight into the lives of the guitar greats featured in the show.
